The
summer 2011 season marks Rachel's 6th year at the Keweenaw Adventure
Company. During the warm season, you can find her paddling your
tours around the majestic waters of Lake Superior, biking the
epic trails of the Copper Harbor ridges, or flitting around
town with her Quaker Parrot, Sagebrush. Rachel also dons the
dirndl at the
Harbor Haus Restaurant. She loves spending the first weeks of
the season kayaking the shores of Isle Royale. During the winters
she is pursuing her Graphic Design bachelor's at Finlandia University,
while making time to learn telemark skiing on Mount Bohemia
and create her chain maille clothing and jewelry. Rachel has
completed the ACA Instructor Development Workshop (IDW) and
has been guiding tours for 5 years.
