Teacher Appreciation: Kayaking in Upper Peninsula

Happy TEACHERS WEEK! It’s your turn to get away to play…

SUMMER! It’s so close you can feel it blowing in on the winds! Soon enough the school halls will go silent and the school rooms left spotless. Teachers will be able to set aside the prioritization of student life and do some living themselves!

We truly value education here at KAC. Our mechanics, shop representatives, and guides each undergo extensive staff training, a large part of which incorporates interpretive training that teaches in them to impart their knowledge of responsible travel to our customers through instruction, interpretation & storytelling and various safety measures.

All of our tours have a thorough instruction component, in an effort to make novices more comfortable and engaged in the unfamiliar, and of course to be safe.
