24 mile & 14 mile

Cross Country Mountain Bike Races

 Mass Race Start @ 2:00pm EST

Jr. Fat Tire kids race @ 12:30pm

40 yard “Short Tire”

1 Mile & 3 Mile XC Races

Live Music: starts ~ 7:00pm following awards presentation

Featuring the Erik Koskinen Band (/Americana/Folk Rock)

on the outdoor stage in the Grant Twp. Park

and a late night perfomance with the Mojo Perry Band (Psychadelic Blues/Rock)

@ Zik's Bar & Grill

Entry Fee Includes:The Race, T-Shirt, Prizes, Food & Entertainment

   
On Site Registration: Saturday 8/30 3:00-5:00pm & Race Day 11:00am-1:00pm
at the Copper Harbor Welcome Center

NEW!!! Fat Tire Campground: The Copper Harbor Trails Club (CHTC) has reserved the entire Organization Campground at nearby Fort Wilkins State Park from September 3-6 for Fat Tire Festival participants, families and friends. Space is available on a first come, first served basis for up to 60 people per night and is limited to tent sites only (Campers & RV's must register and pay at the State Park for standard, public campsites). $2.50 per person, per night includes access to restrooms and showers--a MotorVehicle Permit is required for entry thru the State Park for an additional fee, although no limit on the number of people per vehicle. Reservations and payment can be made on behalf of the CHTC at the Keweenaw Adventure Company in Copper Harbor--(906) 289-4303 or info@keweenawadventure.com

ADDITIONAL WEEKEND ACTIVITIES:

Thursday September 2 : 6:00pm Group Ride--no cost. Plan to ride one lap (14 miles) of the race course at a group ride pace. Food and drink to follow at local establishment.

Friday September 3: Keweenaw Adventure Company Downhill Shuttle Runs in our 14 passenger van from 12:00-6:00pm--preview the downhill sections + other sweet trails not in the race without having to exert too much energy: $5/run or $15 day pass.

Saturday September 4 : Keweenaw Adventure Company Downhill Shuttle Runs. 12:00-6:00pm. $5/run or $15 day pass. Race course will be marked during the afternoon and open for folks to pre-ride at their own pace.

9:00- Midnight--Fat Tire Reception at the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge--Social time and live acoustic music...no cost (cash bar available).
