With a variety of activities, we have awesome options for a religious retreat here in the amazing Keweenaw Peninsula.
Sea kayaking on Lake Superior is a great way to have a quiet, serene experience in nature. We have a variety of beginner, professionally guided day tours, which provide ample time to bond and sightsee. If you want some more experience and team building before you take off on the water – we offer kayaking lessons so that you can be confident on your trips!
If the open water isn’t your thing, we also offer stand up paddleboarding, sit-on-top recreational kayaks and canoe rentals for in-land lake paddling on some of the Keweenaw’s most scenic spots.
Additionally, mountain biking is a great way to get outside and explore the enchanting woods of Michigan. It provides a fun physical and mental challenge for your church group. With state of the art equipment, you won’t have to worry about any mechanical errors on the trip. If you don’t know the local trails, we have introductory guided mountain bike tours to make sure you don’t get lost!
And as a final option, you can set off on walks to downtown or take one of our eco-interpretive hiking tours!
