Keweenaw
Adventure Company's 14 passenger van operates as a shuttle
service between Copper Harbor and other locations around
the Keweenaw Peninsula. Whether you're into downhill runs
on your mountain bike, need a ride for a point to point
kayak trip along the Keweenaw Water Trail or have a wedding,
family reunion or other event at the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge
Conference Center, our dirvers can provide a lift to get
you, your gear or your guests to where you need to be.

Mountain
Bike Downhill Shuttle Runs: Because
there is no ski area with a charlift in Copper Harbor, the
KAC shuttle is the next best way to get you and your mountain
bike to the top of the mountain without having to pedal!
An activity that is most commonly associated with ski resorts
out west, mountain bikers enjoy bombing down Copper Harbor's
sustained vertical descents along the miles of sweet singletrack
that connect the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge and the village,
over 550' and 2+ miles below. While all of the existing
trails are cross country trails and involve some pedaling,
plans to build a desginated downhill run are on the Copper
Harbor Trails Club's agenda for the 2010 season.
The
mountain bike shuttle runs every Saturday and Sunday from
Noon-5:00pm, completing a round trip between the shop and
the Mountain Lodge every 15-20 minutes. The cost is $5 per
run; $15 day pass or $99 season pass per person. Shuttle
runs are available during the week and morning or evening
hours on the weekends by reservation and/or depending on
the availability of staff and the van...additional fees
may apply.
Point
to Point Shuttles: Whether you need to be dropped
off or picked up for a point to point sea kayak tour, bicycle
or backpacking adventure or need group transportation to
or from the Houghton County Airport or other area location,
our shuttle van can be chartered for most any occasion.
All point to point shuttles are scheduled by reservation.

Weddings,
business conferences, reunions and events:
Keweenaw Adventure Company offers group transportation between
Copper Harbor and the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge for any such
occasion. Being that parking is limited at the Lodge and
that you will want to ensure that your guests have a safe
ride back to any of the motels in the Harbor after consuming
a few adult beverages, consider chartering our van for any
type of get together. The van has a capacity to haul up
to 14 people at a time and can average 3-4 trips/hour between
the Lodge and the village. Charters are scheduled by reservation
at a flat rate of $65/hour.
