Liz Martin – Sea Kayak Guide

Liz, an Upper Peninsula native, was pretty much raised on local bays and lakes.  She spent most of her childhood either barefoot in nature or sailing with her parents on Lake Superior.  Growing up on the water cultivated a strong love, respect, and affinity for nature.  She likes to spend her free time kayaking, biking, hiking, camping, or cross country skiing. 

Aside from being an outdoor enthusiast she doubles as a pediatric rehab Speech Language Pathologist. Liz has a passion for educating and working with kids and their families. 

Her love for kayaking was cultivated when she returned home after graduate school and bought her first kayak. This quickly sprouted her adventures from small rivers and bays to larger trips spanning from Marquette to Houghton, touring around the entire Keweenaw Peninsula, and playing around in the Apostle Islands. Liz is enthusiastic and humbled to be able share and explore the Keweenaw
with you!
