Lena Wilson

Meet Lena – Senior Kayak and MTB Guide & Shop Representative

I love being in nature!

I grew up around Muskegon, MI and have spent a lot of time in North Western Quarter of Michigan’s Mitten. For the last few years, I’ve been based in the Keweenaw. Mostly I enjoy simple activities: swimming, clambering around hillsides, tree climbing, running through the woods, playing, getting barefoot and shooting some hoops. My favorite sport is downhill skiing, but I spend some time on the mountain bike trails and kayaking in the summers.

For years I’ve been involved in outdoor programming playing games, storytelling, gathering knowledge of the naturalist and practicing wilderness survival skills. I enjoy being able to give support to people who are trying something new or pushing their edges, particularly in nature- oriented activities.

Other life interests include investigating herbalism, mythology, psychology, philosophy; song writing, playing music, making art; gardening/homesteading and adventuring.
